We sometimes feel as though what we are doing is having no effect; as 
though our actions are too small, even to affect our own journey 
through life.  Like raindrops falling on a stone, we can't always see 
the effects of our actions.  We do know, though, that erosion is one 
of the most powerful forces on earth--not fast, but completely 
unstoppable.  Persistence is the same kind of force.  If we continue 
to press on, if we keep on shooting, we will eventually see results.  
Persist.
