In the passion and heat of our anger, we've all said things we 
regret.  Patience is the way to save us from that regret.  As 
Thomas Jefferson put it, "When angry, count to ten before you speak; 
if very angry, count to one hundred."  That time between action and 
reaction allows us to step away from the passion and allows our 
better judgment to step in.  We all know the wise action is to take 
one step back and evaluate the situation.  The trick is doing so with 
boiling blood and razor sharp words on the tips of our tongues.  
Restraint of tongue and pen is called for here!
